The experts at the Printing Ink Association support the companies in the field in their endeavour to fulfil the specialised needs of the customer base. The common denominator is voluntary work in environmental, health and safety issues. The motivation comes from high-quality production and products. Shared industrial issues include communication, compilation of statistics and monitoring the developments in legislation.
The association makes use of the Chemical Industry FederationÇƒÙs know-how and cooperation with the Confederation of Finnish Industries EK. EuPIA, European Printing Ink Association, is the European forum for cooperation. Globally the industry is organised under the umbrella organisation IPPIC, International Paint and Printing Ink Council. Cooperation on a Nordic level is regular, too. Other cooperation contacts form through the customer network. Users of printing ink have their own organisation.
