Following the record breaking attendance at the 2007 Currency Conference in Bangkok, (476 attendees from 79 countries) Currency Research is very pleased to announce that the 2008 Currency Conference will be held from Sunday, October 12 through Wednesday, October 15, 2008 in Prague, Czech Republic.

The Currency Conference was established in 1992 to offer a unique and secure educational forum for Central Bankers, Bank Note Printers and related Industry Suppliers to discuss new technologies and relevant issues impacting the banking industry. Attracting many of the top individuals in the world of currency such as Central Bank Governors, Deputy Governors and Chief Cashiers, it has long been considered the premier industry conference for Central Banks. The conference is held every 18 months around the world.

Hotel
The Conference will be held at the Hilton Prague. Overlooking the River Vltava, the Hilton Prague hotel offers one of Europe's largest conference facilities and is just 15 minutes' walk from the Old Town. Excellence in Currency Awards
The 2008 Currency Conference will host the second "Excellence in Currency" Awards, awarded by the International Association of Currency Affairs (IACA) to recognize outstanding achievements in the Currency Industry.
