Bookbinding Adhesives
Bookbinding Adhesives

Adhesives are used to bind individual sheets of printed paper into one volume via a variety of binding operations. Eastman produces a range of adhesives designed to provide excellent performance for your bookbinding needs

Hydrogenated Hydrocarbon Resin Eastotac Suggested for applications where excellent color stability and low odor are critical
Regalite Used to achieve an optimal balance of mid-block and end-block compatibility in styrenic block copolymer formulations
Hydrogenated Pure Monomer Resin Regalrez Useful in formulating systems with high clarity and UV resistance such as clear sealants, window bedding compounds, and exterior-grade PSA tapes and labels
Pure Monomer Resin Kristalex Made from pure monomers so they are water-white in color and extremely stable against thermal and oxidative degradation
Piccolastic Used in hot melt adhesives, especially in polychloroprene-based solvent adhesives for light-colored leather and plastics
Piccotex Suitable for adhesive applications where color and stability are critical when a highly colored aromatic tackifier will not suffice
Rosin Resin Cellolyn Recommended when a high degree of tack without excessive decrease in bond strength is desired
Foralyn Impart superior adhesion and excellent cohesion to adhesives based on styrenic block copolymers and acrylic polymers, especially at higher temperatures
Permalyn Excellent choice when gloss is important in hot melt applications
