What is EuPIA ?
The European Printing Ink Group of CEPE improved its identity as an important sector of industry under the name of EuPIA, European Printing Ink Association, in order to strongly promote the positive image of its industry along the supply chain, the public and the media.
EuPIA is composed of all printing ink manufacturers member of CEPE national associations and of affiliated companies in countries where such associations do not exist. EuPIA is the forum for discussion and decision-making with a view to creating a responsible representation of the European printing ink business.
EuPIA remains a group inside CEPE where its members will continue to participate in working groups dealing with issues of general interest to the wide CEPE membership.
EuPIA holds an Annual Conference in which current subjects related to the printing industry and of wider impact are reviewed by specialists.
Printing ink manufacturers showing interest in supporting EuPIA dedicated projects form the EuPIA Council which has elected a Managing Team. Two members of the Council are nominees to the CEPE Executive Board.
Supported by the European Technical Committee ǃÚPrinting Inksǃ٠for health, safety and environment issues, EuPIA contributes to entrepreneurship in the graphic and packaging chains by emphasizing the added value of the products and thus their contribution to the quality of life.
EuPIA maintains close relationship with other Printing Ink Manufacturers Association in the world through IPPIC and in particular with the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) in the USA.
